VXR Cruise control :(

Today on my way home from work, car had been sitting for few minutes running then drove 5 mins, dashed into shop came out and started on my way home, came off a roundabout, booted it and flicked on the cruise control and nothing happened. The cruise control flashed but did not hold its speed, it kept doing this so turned the car off and started it again and it worked fine? :S

anyone got any ideaS?

mine is just as annoying - sometimes it will hold and other times i just kicks it off

You need to have pressed the brakes before trying to engage the cruise control. I had the same problem until I found out you have to have pressed the brakes LOL.

my car decided it didnt like the osition of the mirrors on the motorway and folded in wasnt even windy vauxhall should earn how to make reliable cars

Ta for that. Wow I must have driven quite far without the brakes. I had ment to look it up in the book but can't find it :(

Mine does the same sometimes...Just press reset button :P - shut the car down and re-start.

Sometimes have the same problem mate. Just press the button which resets the cruise control , and try again.

yeah as said mate if it flashes then it means that you havnt pressed the break
