Leaking radiator hoses. Piston number 4 cracking causing engine failure/replacement. Piston 4 is caused by owners not being mechanically sympathetic eg driving hard from cold start, not cooling Turbo down towrds end of journey etc etc.
Wheel bearings going, all but piston 4 are applicable to normal corsas too along with squeeky brakes Prob a few more but I'm tired.

Prob just brake dust gathering up. worst new pads or even pads and discs.

the squeeky brakes are a result of VXL using the wrong compound for the pads. Brakes work absolutely fine just annoying squeek for some people.

IF you find it annoying, VXL will only change pads under warrenty if you really ppush them but they will just put exactly the same compound pads in, change them for EBC pads.

Nothing serious then!

Once discs go will get grooved ones too, make some difference!

Thanks guys, got the VXR today and oh my god, going from a 1.2 corsa c 70bhp to a 180bhp vxr is a good bit of power. Its also good on fuel, which was a suprise to me!

Win tbh

Good on fuel? You can't be driving it properley. I went from a 1.6 astra to the
corsa vxr a few weeks ago and am now using 200% more fuel.

It's worth it though.

Thats what puts me off getting a vxr - I like the screen and climate control - and no one ever has it! Have looked through autotrader etc - and can't find one anywhere! Still the sri will do for now - its just very handy and can't afford a new one!

Yes it will display it on the small screen above the milage. Turn right stalk to go through the menus. Can't remember all of them but you get average mpg. average speed and distance with remaining fuel.
