I run 226bhp at moment and don't run one but I would add one as my next "performance" mod

TJ...................... Let me no when your looking at one.

I next another one to add to our portfolio so can offer a good discount off

great for summer not really needed this time of year until it warms up again

Im very tempted to get one for my Sri, im just scared it will void the Warranty, is this true.. ??

Standard Intercooler is pretty shocking tbh! . like most things from Vauxhall.!..

It will only affect related failures. E.g changing your IC would not affect you claiming for a faulty wing mirror etc

But if there was damage caused directly by the aftermarket IC it wouldn't be covered.

I dont follow........

If anything its better to have a larger more efficent FMIC in both weathers.

Its all to do with charge temps and recovery rates.

Average Rules, the larger and more efficent the FMIC, the lower the charge temps are hence more power.

FMIC are very efficent in the warm and cold weather and should be a seriuous upgrade for anyone after more power..........

Thanks

The difference between intake temps during the summer WITH FMIC and during winter WITHOUT are minimal. SO minimal in fact the ECU can self adjust to any change - Why do you think so many tuners don't offer a specific stage 3 map? ;)

CTL

Incorrect,

The Ecu will only adjust to a simple 0. so infact you would be loosing power on a warmer day then you would a colder day. with or without a larger FMIC

Also have you done any testing on a FMIC we have, and there is a larger gap then most would believe from a hot summers day to a cold winters day.

The more effective your FMIC is, the rules of average means you'll gain power , hold power an intake charges are at an all time low over stock intercooler set up.

Of course you are going to loose power on a warmer day due to the density of the air hence why a larger IC is beneficial during summer - I'm not sure what you are getting at, other then stating the obvious.

So are you claiming your IC is more efficiant then the ones available from the likes of Regal\Courts\TMS who spend hundreds of pounds and hours in R&D? What is the surface area and flowrate of your IC Aaron?

Not comparing anything :)

We use the Forge FMIC as our R&D which also go into the ££££ we believe for the price its hard to beat the Forge FMIC range :)

Anymore info feel free to pm me, always up for a good conversion :)

i got a forge FMIC and a remus system got 215bhp on the rollers last sunday, think the intercooler makes quite a bit of difference!

people with just a map and exhaust run that sort of power :\

whats the torque like though with the bigger intercooler?

It would be much easier to post so everyone could see ;)

Agreed, people have seen those figures after just a remap on its own!

the thing is i have not remapped it yet, once remapped with the hardware i have i can see between 240 to 250bhp and 300lbft.

ah.. that explains it.. suprising increases without a map tbh!
