im toying with getting a vxr as an everyday car, and it would be used for trackdays would go the ring so i would get an lsd a harness n uprated tyres n rims 1st

but i would keep the car and i would probably do 15k miles a year and i would prob keep the car fr 3 years so buying 2nd hand would have 10k on clock so in 3 yrs would have 50-60k on it would it last as i know tams 1.3 d died at 50k

but i might if vx offer gd finance a brand new one

if you maintain it properly cant see why it wouldnt last

as above, should last if maintained properly, but then in 3 years its guna have lost alot of money because of the high mileage!

Yes they can take the high mileage, I know of 07 plate cars used everyday over 40k on clock. I wouldn't use it for track days aswell though it's either one or the other. I'm lucky I have janies car to use during the week for work as we both work at same place on same shifts my vxr is a weekend car and soon to be trackday car.

Vxrs will take milage....regular services and 5k oil changes wont hurt at all.

May want to keep an eye on condition of turbo though...

only thing is im scarred that the evo would just sit in the garage n not get used as i think i might need to decalre it sorn or if it ws taxed i would only be 3rd prty on it as my mum would need to insure it fully comp
ahhhhhhhhhh i dont kno lol

nowt wrong with using everyday and track days, im just about to clock 30k, done the 'ring and done a few track days. going back to the 'ring in october aswel!

as said though, well maintained, such as regular oil and filter changes it will be fine. i do my oil and filter every 3k without fail.
