bell. im 20, 1 years no claims £800 on a 1.4 sxi with all mods declared.

depends on your postcode area too. try this > http://www.carinsuranceexplained.com/car_insurance_explained/insurance_postcode_risk.htm

don't use those search engine insurance places, they always overquote. go direct or ring the places up.

Hi mate, im 20 got a 07 plate vxr, my insurance is £1,300 with 2 yr no claims.

This is with me as the main driver and my mum as a second driver (She brings my insurance down around £500) 2000miles per year car value of 9k bcuz that part doesn't matter.

Elephant Insurance....you just have to be nasty to them on the phone if u want a good price mate

Hope this helps!

I'm afraid to say it does, if you were to make a claim and the car was written off but worth more than 9k thats all you would get. It's best to value the car as best you can so that you have the best chances at a good payout in the worst case scenario.

Mileage wise, it does matter but is harder to check but when it comes to MOTing your car it may come back around at you. The mileage doesn't make much difference anyway or at least not for me

Thing is evey individual/car/postcode/milage/car value is different and no 2 quotes will be the same, whats good for 1 person will be bad for the next, even if the cars the same.

BTW my wifes policy dropped by about £100 by putting me on, I am a little older thought to be fair :yippe: I used to just drive hers on my insurance policy to drive any car, but no I am fully comp on hers and its cheaper for her too winner all round
