1.3 CDTi Revs fluxing when engine on?!??

the other day i came out and tunred on my car around lunchtime... when i turned it on i noticed the revs were fluxing...not very much but noticable by sound and by feel by vibrations...on the speedo it was only fluxing just under the 1000 mark to just above the 1000 mark

i gave it abit of welly,(revved it abit) then when i stopped it stopped too.

this has only happened once or twice, yesterday and about 3-4 weeks ago.

ive heard alot of people complaining about their cars cutting out when stationary and was woundering if i might encounter this problem soon and do i need to go to VX...or am i jsut being over anxious?

Dont worry about it too much m8, quite a lot of cars do this, if its not really racing it will be ok.

My 1.7 diesel is the same. I am aware that it's no big deal but would like to know why it's started doing this. Have had the car from new and it has always idled rock steady until now. I would like to get it sorted before warranty ends. Sh*t like this just bugs me!
