View Full Version : do design D's have silvertechs as standard?

im looking at buying some tinted side repeaters off flattothemat but what i want to know is can i use my current bulbs that are in the car at the moment or do i need to go out and buy some silvatechs?

You can use the current ones max. If you use silvertech's you wont be able to see the inllumination very well.

if you're getting the clear repeaters, i'd definitely get the silvatechs, they aren't too expensive anyway but look much better in my opinion

so are the current ones orange bulbs becasue to me it looks like they are white bulbs but with orange filter on the current repeaters? coz arnt design ones different?

right just went out to the car, the lights are clear and white and the repeater enclosure makes them orange because of the filter. just got some silvatechs and changed them! :)
not as bright, which is worrying since there not even behind tinted glass yet :/

you dont need silvatecs behind tinted repeaters, only for clear ones.

just buy some orange indicators if you got tinted side repeaters thats wht i did.

surely wont the indicator just flash a dull white then?
