Well folks, after a long time looking. I think I may have uncovered what we need;

http://www.hids-direct.co.uk/error-free-leds/r580-w215w/canbus-r580-7443-w215w-dual-contact-6w-smd-led-error-free-p-571.html

And normally a site you can trust, plus I need some registration plate LED's too :)

hi, i bought these...

http://www.lightec-autostyle.co.uk/vauxhall-corsa-high-power-cree-xenon-white-sidelight-bulbs-p-246.html

but have not fit them yet, will they cause the canbus problems? if so i'll jus buy the ones mentioned above n save the hassle of fitting the bulbs twice!

Camshi

Won't be a problem as long as your car isn't a facelift model, because of the addition of Daytime Running Light's which are compulsory now :)

ahhhhh so that may be a problem then as I do have a facelift model limited edition :/

I am looking to change all of the bulbs in the car exterior to a bright white colour if possible (i personally don't like the blue colour look) so I was looking for somethiing around the 4300k/6000k range. My current setup that I was hoping to install was as follows;

-DRL's - http://www.lightec-autostyle.co.uk/vauxhall-corsa-high-power-cree-xenon-white-sidelight-bulbs-p-246.html (that I know know will cause canbus problems)
-Dipped beam - http://www.lightec-autostyle.co.uk/vauxhall-corsa-xenon-white-dipped-beam-headlight-bulbs-p-229.html
-Full beam - http://www.lightec-autostyle.co.uk/vauxhall-corsa-xenon-white-main-full-beam-headlight-bulbs-p-230.html
-Fog lights - Current not found any to change to
-Rear number plate lights - http://www.lightec-autostyle.co.uk/vauxhall-corsa-xenon-white-license-number-plate-leds-p-533.html

I have a facelift model LE and was looking to change all the lights to a bright white but I don't want any canbus problems. Can anyone let me know if I will have any problems with these bulbs or if most of them will be ok for what I want?

I am a bit of a novice when it comes to car diy and if anyone who is near to Chorley would be able to fit the bulbs for me then please let me know.

ANy help is appreciate, Cheers John

You're getting it all wrong buddy :lol: Cree sidelights won't work on the facelift, you have to use the ones I linked or camshi linked. For the rest, I've made a review on MTEC xenon bulbs for your dipped and main beams in reviews section so check it out, and for numberplate LEDs go to crazyleds website or warningace can provide them on here. :)

yup, but theres a small issue, once the ignition is on the DRL's don't work on standard settings i.e on the first option of the light switch, when you turn the switch to the other two settings they work. :(

The LED DRL's i bought of ebay look exactly like this (i can't guarantee they work but they look identical! are are the correct spec)

http://www.alibaba.com/product-gs/490494668/1_92w_7443_auto_led_tail.html

If someone wants to start selling them it's a good gamble as there is still no one selling them :thumbs:

yeah sidelights are off for some reason FFS :( Dunno what to do iv taken the bulbs out yet the rear lights still wont go on! Fuse?

Ever since I got my Corsa from the dealers I've never had any lights on the rear of the car when the DRLs are on. Once they're onto sidelights the rear ones come on.

So if my headlight switch is in the off position & I start the car the DRLs come on on the front only, switch on the side lights the DRLs dim & the rear lights come on.

Do yours rears not work at all regardless of the switch position?

matey he's not talking about the stock DRL bulbs that come with your corsa, he's testing a new set of CREE DRLs which give a crisp white light compared to the nasty yellow one given with the stock bulbs. LED DRL's cause canbus errors in our cars and thus the rear light issues.

i had my lights converted to xexon over 3 months ago now but they guy that did the work for me said that he couldnt get hold of any DRL that actually work! apparently they have all had to go back because of a manufacturing fault! Spoke to him last week and he said he will soon be receiving correct working ones that have just been made! as soon as i find out more i will let everyone know.
