tints changed at the front

i had 35% on the front and it looked like this

i have got 5% on the rear 3

None lol. The front windows are already tinted slightly, and to the legal limit, so if you add anything on them, it's over the limit.

Where do you live mate, I've never known the police to be so petty and stop for stuff like this, I know loads of people with tinted front windows, I know people with tiny little license plates which u can barely read lol, They have never stopped them from what i know of.

well did the tint place give u a receipt ? if they did all you say to the police is that the guy said there legal.and show him the receipt.if he didnt give you a receipt hes lying. lol. i got done for tints a few months back, got told to take them off there and then.and if i didnt i could face a fine, done the test with the light thing weird little gadget.

Well if they are selling tints im very sure they will know the legal limits for tinting, Infact im most deffinately sure they would, Or i wouldnt trust them putting tints on my windows haha.

put it this way. my mate got illegal tints on his motor, and they said they were not gonna give him a receipt for it, my friend agreed , all the company has to do then is say they have never had the car in there workshop but if they have a receipt the company is ****ed,

its illeagal 2 do th front 1's @ all, i still did it though they dont usually care. Thats y wen u ask 4 standard tints on a car as an extra they dont tint the front

If you tint your front windows and are caught in Derbyshire they will Prohibit your car allowing you to drive it home. You cannot drive it until the tints have been removed. 3 people i know were messing around attractig allention and they Prohibited all 3 there and then. Dont ignore it they will take your car off the road.
They are also removing illegal numberplates and reporting it to DVLA. If you put the plates back on DVLA delete the plate and you need to apply for a Q plate. Making your car worth almost 1/2 its value.

if you drive a modern renault, citroen, ford, vw,vauxhall, etc, chances are that your front glass measures 65-68% straight from the showroom!

care to explain why cars come out the showroom with front tints then if there illegal ?

i believe the law states that the windscreen must not be tinted at all and front sides must allow 70% light through. the police have this light meter which clips onto the window to measure.

my mate got dun with his Golf front windows, got a fine and a warning to remove them within 14days or he would face a bigger fine and still have to have them removed on the front.
