Im tempted by getting a vxr (if i get a SRi i will want it to be a vxr anyway!) but want to look at all the options available to me as i have a few months before considering getting one
so given the options list on the vxr i would like -
Full leather - is it worth the money?
Climate control - Got and want again
Sight and light pack - Got but dont know if i really want/need it again, is it just 200 for the sake of it?
18" alloys - because the 17's dont do a thing for the car!
also what colour, i was swayed to the arden blue but the black has caught my eye now! decisions decisions!
anyway all comments and advise welcome

in balck with leather and 18" alloys. coz leather easier to keep clean and looks alot better

£200 saved for petrol then lol think they are the best options really, anything else u wud get when ordering new?

I'd go for Arden Blue, i saw one the other day and could instantly tell it was a hottt VXR. With Black it could be anything, unless you see the lights/exhaust.
Personally i like half leather, leather is colddd in the mornings. Climate control is up to you really, its more of a personal thing and the sight and light pack is a bit of a waste of money, its not that hard to turn your lights/windscreen wipers on. lol Defo go for the 18's too.

I got an Arden ble VXR with 18's . What i would recommend more than anything else is the remus and decat pipe , its an optional extra now , it really does make a difference and i love the pops and bangs from the exhaust

only problem with arden blue is every1 gets it! dont think its a bad colour but dont want to be a sheep really :lol:
with the leather its heated so that would solve that problem i think?
climate i recon is worth it, saves the fidderling trying to get the temperature right all the time and agree with the sight and light pack idea think that is out now :lol:

may look into these when a full system is available as i dont want to pay twice and there have been alot of mixed comments with the exhausts available

black or red, 18's, climate, AFL - leather aint worth it.
Would hold off the optional Remus, they will not do a full system ever they still havent done one for the Astra or any other vxr. is a 3" milltek race system coming out in few weeks if that is too loud then the full current milltek is nice too.

in all honesty i wouldn't bother with the full leather, it will eventually sag and you'll be gutted. i have the half leather and it's very nice and comfy. and i agree the 18s are the better wheels. s & l is a nice toy but that's personal choice i guess. afls not worth it as it's only halogen and not xenon.

may look into the exhaust option but just found out norwich union wont let me change car over to a vxr till im 25 cause its high performance :'( wont get the AFL cause i have HIDs and they are better, if AFL was xenons i would get them :D
Forgot to add climate to mine but I'd recommend the AFL is you're likely to drive dark winding roads . Got the S+L and 18's too and finished off in Arden :)

Thats what i would get if i was getting one.
but its all personal choice, you gotta be happy with it and live with it :)
