I got this off the vxronline site.
the corsa is my corsa vxr running at the time 267bhp.
the golf gti has 407bhp
the astra vxr has 420bhp
the audi s3 has 400bhp
and the focus st has 327bhp
as you can see the corsa can hold its own up to 100mph,then it drops back so regal are working on this today, new inlet manifold with 480cc injectors, dbilas turbo manifold with the astra vxr turbo, also a LSD is going in.
you can also see that the regal/vxr vectra brakes work as good as the AP AND ALCOM brakes, for less money.
thanks regal for all your hard work...............IT WAS WET....

Our day at Millbrook
As you all know we visited Millbrook testing ground some weeks ago, with a number of cars for EVO magazine.
We took with us an Astra VXR (tubular manifold GT28 turbo), Audi S3 (Manifold turbo upgrade), Golf GTi (Turbo and manifold upgrade) there was also present another tuners Ford Focus. Although the corsa VXR (Wayne’s’) was not scheduled to be there, Evo agreed that it was too good an opportunity to miss, to have the chance to put this little pocket rocket though its paces and to be timed alongside the other cars.
The feature in Evo magazine is now on sale and we have not been able to release the results of the tests until this point, although the corsa tested was not featured, the data pulled from the tests do prove some interesting reading.
The tests were conducted by Evo’s own test driver, tests were completed at Millbrook on the straight mile, and on the 2 Alpine Slalom courses.

The point to remember is the corsa is the smallest of all the cars engine wise and chassis wise, with really good suspension no diff and single pot caliper brakes, so I am really pleased with the results.
I was so impressed I wanted to opportunity to share them with you.
