However since then the sub makes a noise as if plastic is rattling inside/on it.

Basically it sounds really bad now on low end stuff.

I was just wondering whether I've basically ruined my sub and need to get a new one

Its the active edge 12" btw, so if I have blown it I was wondering if I could put a set of twin fli active 12"s in? Just by simply switching the wires over.

It was all professionally fitted and wired to the standard HU aswell

I've just fitted a set of HID's to the D, but when they are turned on the radio signal just dies, then I turn them off and voila I have a radio signal again, it doesnt affect the Cd player, or anything else!!
Anyone else had this issue?
