anybody on here that has fitted coilovers to their D or any D. i've had help locating the front strut mounts but have no idea where the rear ones are. anybody able to help? also is there anything i should watch out for whilst fitting? i'll get it all balanced and tracked by a garage afterwards...

Its time for new tyres, i have kenda's on just now they lasted a long time but i thot they were rather ****, So im looking to get better tyres so hit me with suggestions. btw my tyre size is 205/40/17

So i've bit the bullet and ordered my FK AK Street Coilovers. the ones that jase has just got. i'll be dropped it around 70. might give it some rake and make the back a little higher. not sure yet. hopefully my friends brother will be able to help me fit them, then i'll go somewhere and get the...

as above can anyone recommend any coil-overs? i want at least 70mm drop on the front and rear 50 - 60mm? i have been looking at some KW ones and weitec too are the cheap ones on LMF and ebay any good as there al safety regulated? thanks

Finally got up off my a**e and took some photos of my D with the freshly installed coilovers, theyre FK AK Street coilovers and theyre fully adjustable, i havent slammed it completely yet thats why this is only stage one, i want to see what the rides like before i take it down to the full 130mm ;)...

Right, looked around and heard these squeaky brakes are usual and we've to put with them but im just going to change them any reccomendations

Got a set of Vauxhall SXi 17's just wondering how you remove the whole centre cap assembly and then the badges so they can get painted , I think the badge pops out but do you have to take the wheel off to get them out?? :?

Just got new Alloys .. now when i get to 60mph my car vibrates and as i get faster it vibrates more .. ive tightened all the bolts up well, do i just need the tracking doing or wheels balanced ?? thanks

Right ROBIN HOOD told me that 215/45 R17 4x100 is the right type for my corsa D SXi ... now someone on facebook is telling me i need to check the offset as i may need spacers ? is this true, or will they just go straight onto my corsa ? i have 195/55 R16 on them now standard sxi alloys .. ...

Hi is anyone on here selling alloys? My corsa D only has steel wheels and i hate them, I need alloy's asap! Was at a place yesterday and had 19's on it but think they are a bit big so looking for 17's any help would be appreciated, thanks !!

I want a set of alloys and the details are 4x 17" Cam 4x100 Size: 17" 7j et38 ok i understand they are 17" but i dont understand the next bit ... cam 4x 100 and size?? what size tyre would i need for them & would they fit my corsa D '58 :) ?

with me and two mates in it sometimes bottoms out on some bumps in the road. Im guessing this is a problem and is bad. I only bought the 40mm apex springs and left the standard shocks. If I buy new shocks will it solve this problem will it a harder ride and will it handle better?

hay i found this Apex Lowering Sports Spring Kit on larkspeed website and it says that the car can be lowerd 25mm to 60mm is this right for just the springs or does that mean if you buy the coilover kit? are these springs ok just to swap the standard ones? i only wanted to lower my car 40mm could...

I dedided to stick my old corsa wheels on the D and have a butchers. I could just about get it past the calipers!! How big are the brakes on a 1.6T 308mm?

i had my car lowered on apex 40mm springs about 3 months ago but recently the rear springs occasionally seem to squeak randomly for no reason at all when im driving along does anyone else have this, or is it just common? :woops:

What is the difference between lowering springs and coilovers? i know the coilovers are adjustable but is there any other differences between the two?

Hi peeps, Ive ordered some 17 team dynamics monza r's and i was gonna fit the myself. But I dont no if the alloys come with spacers or not as they are wider than the original ones. Halfords have said they are the correct size and will fit but I dont no if it will rub or not? has any one ever...
