Just a set of codes so when you need to order somthing from
Vauxhall they can look at what special equipment you have to get the right part

I believe the VIN contains the chassis number and when put into VX's system that should bring up a car's specification?

You can't get all that information from decoding the VIM i don't believe.

Thats what was confusing me haha, there was loads of information coming from a relatively small code.

Dear Paddy 12345, can you really infer all of this information from the Vin code?

Is there any risk in me giving you the code for our own new Corsa?

I should quite like to know when it was built as we bought a pre-facelift model only two months ago on an 11 plate

Still don't get the point when you can call Vauxhall for free give them your reg or Vin and they will tell you The exact spec of your car
