I am looking at getting an exhaust for my 1.4 SRI (2012) but was not sure what would be the best as I drive long distances and do not want a drone that lasts me the whole motorway! ha

    Longlife > Powerflow.

If I'm cruising at 60-70mph, my exhuats is quiet

Longlife use a higher grade of stainless steel so last longer than Powerflow systems.

Yeh. It's in my progress thread. Bear in mind I have a 1.0 3 pot engine.

Your 1.4 will sound a lot better.

Try the cheaper oprions first, so filter the car, cone filters give u the noise of the exhaust
Then if your not happy get a longlife or powerflow, they use a drilled sleeve on the inside to make the exhuasts rasp when u put it down , then when u get linear flow it sounds quiter.

    Rms to good exhausts aswell
its my way or the highway
PM for light tinting, led installs , painted headlights should be up for sale in the next month, splitter fitting, and general help

I would say get a piper but i'm bias, it's the only non standard exhaust on a 1.2 i'v heard.
