Steering Wheel Controls (Stereo not working)

    Hi guys,

Had an aftermarket stereo fitted a couple of months ago, all was fine. Then it stopped working, the steering wheel controls adapter was stopping it from working. The bloke fixed it but meant I couldnít have my steering wheel controls. Got fed up without them so tried again at a different audio shop, he said itís something which Vauxhall will need to sort.

Anybody idea what I need to do or whatís wrong with it?
    Thanks
    Ash

And if that doesn't work, recconect the cd30, turn it on then, unplug and reconnect your aftermarket HU.

It's something to do with the canbus and it telling the car the cd30 isn't there anymore.

I sold the cd30 buddy but I shall give the battery a try. Will that reset my airbags or anything? Without sounding stupid, how do I unplug the battery lol?

Open the bonnet and unplug the negative first, then the positive.

Won't reset anything apart from you trip computer display maybe (if you have one) people do it all the time when installing a sub

It's the canbus, common problem. Happens to me too. I just plug the cd30 back in; no real bother. It hasnt happened for about 6 weeks now lol
