Long time no speak to some of you who know me. I use to own a Corsa D 1.7 CDTI which was featured in Total Vauxhall magazine a fair few years back. Since then the car has been sold and i have moved on! Originally wanted another everyday commuter to work and back but then landed on my Polo 6R R-Line in Candy White with Touch screen multimedia screen. The model sits between the SEL and the BlueGT which is why it has the 1.2 TSI engine. Though originally only 105ps, i have since remapped mine to about 140bhp with a re-tune to come since fitting a new exhaust system.
Anyway enough chatter! Here are some pics and a slow build log to go with them.
First Day i got her
Safe to say it didn't stay standed for long as the mods started coming quick and fast:
First changed out the top and bottom grills for GTI grills and also fitted a over-sized pod filter with Forge Motorsport Dump Valve:
Next i tried out some plastidip on my wing mirrors which turned out alright! Think i might change it for some gloss black or carbon fibre ones though.
Next came Eibach Pro Sport springs which lowered the car 30mm/40mm and gave the car a much better stance without ruining the comfort. Standard height was like a 4x4 and i hated it! At this point i also had a custom exhaust system made which included a Euro Sport backbox and mid silencer cutout with a catback system in place. The car sounds so nice, just like the Polo GTi, with very nice pops and bangs.

Now for my latest mod! Something i've always wanted since new! Bi-Xenon headlights! Though these are replicas with 6000K HID's in but the actual units themselves are based on the original VW headlights. The LED's in the headlights are very bright and look stunning, i love everything about them :D
That's it for now , the car is due for a re-tune to get more power as i should see the sunny side of 150bhp soon. Also looking at getting some 15mm spacers front and back to give it a wider stance and Anthracite wheels to match
