Head Gasket 1.4 2013 Black Edition.

My 1.4 Black edition has only done 39,000 miles & been serviced regularly & is well looked after. Was driving to work the other day on the motorway & seems like the head gasket has went! The water coolant was bubbling & nothing will resolve it.

Anybody been in the same position? What’s the best option? Been advised it’s a big job & some mechanics saying get a new engine ect?

Had 3 Corsas previous too this any never any issues!

    Cheers

    J

Lol @ new engine - walk away from that garage!

As above check for oil in the coolant tank or mayo under the oil cap.

Has it had any work recently? Like new radiator as some people relay in the system self bleeding which doesn't always work.
