I have a Cords D 1.2 the battery is not one of the no maintenance types so i was trying to see if the levels were OK, i can get the first three caps out but i need to remove the junction box to get to the others, can someone tell me if removing the junction box can do any harm i will not be removing the main positive lead as seen in the video just the junction box terminal strip which is held with a bolt as seen in the video at 1:20.

Thanks in advance for any help on this.

make sure you remove the NEGATIVE TERMINAL FIRST before removing the positive terminal
Thanks will do also put negative lead on last when putting leads back on.

I saw a video of the inside of the black box it has two short lengths of cable and a big fuse.
