If its a faulty wiring issue on the passenger side it needs to be diagnosed first by an autoelectrician

So the replacement switch does not work at all..when you checked the old switch was there current on both input and exit terminals ?
it's difficult to say but this electrical issue has to be seen by a garage AUTOELECTRICIAN
I haven't checked the the current. But i believe i definitely need to visit the garage.

Yes that's the way forward. maybe you can put this down to a learning experience. we have all gone through similar situations.
give it to a garage once you have exhausted all possible options

How expensive are garages ? How much I should prepare to pay for checking the car and fixing the issues .

do you mean just for inspection of the car ?yes ,you will have to pay for that.
if it's a category S car better to have it checked out

if the car is roadworthy as it is now do not feel worried .They will check it out at the next MOT.What you can do is to a DIY check of the suspension , breaks and fluid levels.
once you sort out the boot lid it should be ok for now.The passenger window can be operated anyway from the switch on that side.

I also noticed yesterday when driving a weird noise when braking. 🤔.

it might be something simple like worn brake pads or discs causing the noise. How is the steering and car does not veer to a side when driving.
check the brake pads /discs after removing tyres. These cars have rear brake drums.

All fine, doesn't pull to one side. And the. Steering wheel works fine as well.

ok.Then wait for MOT to get it checked anyway.i think a brake check is important before that
