My Corsa is a 60 plate petrol 5 door. I got a letter from vauxhall l.warranty team saying to make sure cambelt + brake fluid changed regularly. How often should the cambelt be changed? It's done around 75k miles. I've had the brake discs and pads changed together twice + pads only twice, since I've had the car. All works done by dealerships - surely they'd change the brake fluid when doing those works? It's just that when I checked the invoice from 2020 (when discs and pads recently replaced), it doesn't mention brake fluid but mentions things like cleaning fluid, motor oil.

i thought these corsa models have a timing chain instead of a cambelt.Just query from vx dealers whether that is the case

The letter will be a standard one sent out to try to get people with older cars back to the dealership.

As far as i know all Corsa D engines are chain and do not need replacing unless they become noisy, they are supposed to outlast the engine with regular oil changes.

If in doubt ring VX and ask the price.
