Hi, if I might pin myself and ask for help. I own 64 plate 5 door and I am having problems with my central locking . Problem is that my rear right door won't lock . The locking mechanism in the door it self does make like a gentle tick sound as if it tries to lock but it can't, I have tried a different locking mechanism but no luck , what might be the problem? Will it be the central locking module or lack of continuity on one or more of conductors?

Not quite sure I must try with a multimeter to see whether there is any voltage coming through , although it seems like there is power coming as when I try to lock it quietly ticks , seems like it tries to lock but can't quite do it I'm starting to think it might be a faulty module

I have tried a different "new" lock and no difference

No I haven't, I have purchased a multimeter and will be looking in to in most likely on the weekend. Would you be able to direct which pins should I be checking ? Or should I just do random combinations?

I respect your decision although it's not like I have ignored you I have seen the thread while I was at work I have been pulled away so didn't manage to respond, yes I have decided that it might have been the lock, thogh . Everyone makes wrong decisions. helping on the forum is voluntary , but thank you for pointing me in the right direction.
