Hi everyone, I need help with Opel Corsa D OPC Nürburgring edition (engine A16LER).

The car has been giving me problems for a while and I’m running out of ideas.

Symptoms:
• On idle, when I press the throttle, the engine hesitates/chokes for a second before revving.
• While driving, up to around 4,000–4,500 rpm everything is fine, but then it starts misfiring/hesitating, produces black smoke and the warning light (car with spanner) comes on → the car goes into limp mode.
• Sometimes the light disappears on its own when I push the car harder in higher gears.
• Occasionally it pops from the exhaust when shifting or letting off the throttle.
• A few times it stalled when I pressed the clutch and rolled (e.g. entering an intersection).

What has been done so far:
• Turbocharger rebuilt and calibrated (I have boost graph, everything checks out).
• Vacuum valve and turbo actuator replaced.
• New MAP sensor (Bosch 0 261 230 302).
• New MAF sensor.
• New spark plugs, coil packs tested (original Opel).
• Throttle body removed and cleaned (visually clean).
• No permanent error codes, but sometimes it throws “boost pressure sensor – out of range”.

My suspicions:
• Either lambda (O₂) sensor giving wrong values,
• Or fuel pressure issue (fuel rail sensor / regulator).
• Or possibly wiring/ground issue, since I noticed the brake lights dim/flicker a bit when I suddenly press the throttle.

Has anyone had the exact same issue on an A16LER / Nürburgring, and what was the fix?

Thanks in advance!
