ive just attempted debadge my car
coz i have nothing better to do

and

ive heated it with hair drier

and as they came loose i notice a brown "burn" mark behind the 1.4 badge

can this removed in anyway after debadeging

or

do i have to stick the badge back on and admit defeat?

sounds to me like you may have burnt the paint, take the letters off tomorrow again (be careful not to do any more damage and if you can get hold of a little t-cut try that to get rid of it, if not itll cost £140 plus vat to re-spray a boot

luckily for me
it was just dirt not burn marks
the 1.4 fell off when i was driving/due to the ice that covered my car this morning

so debadging will commence 2morrow
:)
