That is running fake firmware, there is no such thing as firmware 1.70, 1.65, 1.72, 1.90, 1.95 or 1.99 they are old versions faked to fool the gullible.

I can sell you one that is running the correct firmware with the correct, matching software.

Use a 6 sided socket and it will undo.

I'm sure they would let you try it for size, it's not as if a socket is wrapped in lots of packaging.

Buy a decent, correctly configured OpCom or Vauxcom unit and it will give you near dealer level access to your vehicle. I can sell you one that works if you are serious about repairing your vehicle.

You will need the rocker cover gasket.
Don't touch the head gasket.

I always use torque wrenches and have 5 that range from just 5Nm all the way up to a huge one that goes to 400Nm.

I've had my money's worth out of them over the years.

Aldi do a decent one suitable for wheels for less than £25 when they have them in.
