Engine management light came on but car was driving fine. Disconnected battery a few times and light went off for between 20 & 120 miles, even managing to get it through an MOT. I have now changed both oxygen sensors but the light still comes on. Have been driving for a month with no issues, even with the light on, but have now started to get a slight loss of power for what seems seems like a millisecond, then drives normally. Starts fine and drives ok on motorway at higher speeds but seems to have a slight dip in power/judder around town. Grateful for any advice as to what to try next.
Neighbour had a cheap one that came up with bank one oxygen sensor and at time car was still driving perfectly fine. But light kept coming on had to take neg battery lead off to make light go off.but would still come back on after time sometimes 20 miles some times 120.today had engine judder or dip in power just for a second and the light was off then light came on after a few miles.
You need to find out what codes are stored take it to a garage that has a decent reader and get it scanned otherwise you'll be blindly throwing money at it trying to fix what you don't know for sure

Corsa D 2009 1.4 fault code says bank one sensor. Which l think is one near engine at the front easy to get at. Vauxhall want £204 so looking for a cheaper one. Lost on line details of which position is bit confusing. Found one that says bank one position two . I thought position two was under car ?? Any advice please mac
