Mainly due to difference in price I think mate.
Eonon is just a cheaper alternative.

i just brought and installed an Eonon.... money well spent i think its much better when you got the OEM look!

look at the specs of the two units not just the badge. you will see straight away the eonon is batter than a sony...

i dont know the base on the software but i know the hardware is better and more spercific to a vauxhall's in car software than a pioneer

Hahaha no its not, just because its built to replace the OEM standard one dosent mean its more specific to the vehicle.

Exactly, no problems with my pioneer, yet loads on VXRO have also had problems with eonon and vxmmi

Yeahhh. Kenwoods arent made for plug n play. But much better than an eonon

My steering controls work fine, only reason eonon have them is standard is so they can "try" to make it close to OEM
