Your best of with cat back mate cuz the 1.4 has a silencer in the center so just a back box will make nearly no difference in sound I had cat back on my 1.4 and sounds ace now its broke in and its bot to loud ether

I just changed the backbox on my 1.4... Sounds much louder and feels a little bit nippier

Ni mine is sportex and the vid is on my progress thred but that was the day it got fitted and its cold so didnt sound the best if you want ill do one when I get home from work for you and pm you the link to the vid if you like

I like the noise of a cone filter, nice whoosh when accelerating and a bit of noise at high revs.
