I'm losing my mind with this one, all help appreciated.
Recently fitted a remanufactured RH drive shaft (the long one)
Thought I would do the driveshaft seal at the same time.
Day later it's leaking. I change the seal again - leaked again. They were pattern part seals.
So ok this time I bought a genuine vauxhall seal.
I also measured the seal mating surphace on the old drive shaft and the new, incase that was wrong on the remanufactured shaft. Nope - both identical.
Still bloody leaking!!
Seal is driven in so it's flush with the casing. Same as the original that was ok but sweating a little.
I'm out of ideas. Please help
