mot rules coming in state there must be a cat in place to be a pass, i would go for either knocking your cat out ( cheap) decat and still looks stock or a race cat..

I no a full decat won't pass mot, but that's no big deal, I will just put main cat back on when it's mot time.. there is a big price diff tho, cobra decat pipe £170 sports cat £380

could you not get a spare cat off a scrapper, cut it open weld a pipe in it to in essence create a straight through?
Weld it all back up and then pop it on in place of your current CAT?

Will look standard and no doubt it will be alot cheaper than buying a decat pipe etc. I know my mate did it on his Leon and it sounded great/works fine would it work on the D?

like i said, knock the internals out of your standard cat for oe look but increase in power/noise, much much cheaper than a sports cat and less hastle than having to refit one at mot time..
