Hi guys,

It's my first post on here so ill see how it goes...!

Just bought a tow bar off eBay:

Does anybody know whether you have to use chassis rails to fit it and if so do they come on the cars already as standard?

If there not built in the cars already does anybody know where to get chassis rails from?
Or what the best way to make them is, as I have seen a few good handmade ones.

I have an 08 3dr Breeze.

Thanks in advance!!:D

I think it joins/replaces the bar that runs behind the rear bumper.

I know someone on here built his own and fitted it. There is a thread about it
Thanks, probably not going to know till the rear bumpers off. It's going to be fun wiring the socket up too after looking into it.

Just wish I'd thought about it before pressing buy it now!

Ill have a look for that thread, cheers!

Thanks for the offer rgw1, but got the bar sorted. Now just looking at how to wire the bypass relay etc for the 12 pin socket.

I paid a towbar place in Preston £25 to fit 12N single electrics to mine.
