That's extremely cheap for a 19 year old, but you've had your license for a good while and a NCB, i'm getting quotes of 1.3k from Admiral think i will be going with them

My first car was a 5dr, cheaper then 3 door

Just done a few quotes for when the LE (Diesel) arrives so I have a rough idea what to expect.. Coming out as £184 fully comp, no voluntary excess and protected NCB. I have 17years No claims, no points on my license. what I find ridiculous is that I got a quote for a VXR.. It was only £7 more! £7! If only I didn't do 80 miles a day to work ?

I've done quotes on 200 and up bhp cars out of curiosity and they are the same price for me to insure as my 75bph diesel corsa.
That's with 8 years no claims and 3 points. I just don't get it.

i could of got insured on a Nissan 350z for £1200, a 3.5 litre engine compared to my corsa Vxr only a 1.6 turbo which im paying £1500, explain the logic LMAO

Insurance works on risk of the person, location and car.

More corsa VXRs will have been crashed than a 350Z and most likely more VXRs get stolen and vandalised.

I'm 21, 1 NCB paying £680 for my arctic VXR but when I was car shopping an E92 M3 was only £1100, focus ST225 £800, although the dreaded Honda s2k came in at £4000, I would never pay over £1000 for any car to be honest, not worth it in my opinion
