Hi all.
As in previous posts, bought a Corsa d 1.3 cdti for my daughters first car that needs some love. Been removing parts to check for condition and this a picture of inside the inlet manifold - think it’ll need removing and cleaning. I used to be a mechanic but not worked on one of these before, are they hard to remove? EGR off first? Thanks.

I cannot answer your question but please read this thread it may save you a lot of trouble in the future -

Corsa D 1.3 Diesel - will not start - will not turn over...

On the 1.3 diesel models the drain holes under the scuttle panel block with leaves and other crap (see below) the ECU then sits in a water bath water eventually gets inside and destroys the ECU so get those drain holes cleared and keep your fingers crossed its not too late. A new ECU will...

Having just read your scuttle thread I can see now.
That's why I couldn't place which part of the intake system it was from.....

Yeh sorry, kind of mixing threads a bit. That was the central water drain from under the scuttle panel.

So not that hard to remove, just time consuming. Much cleaner now (before and after pictures)

The pipe from the EGR valve that goes into the inlet manifold.
