Hey,

I was wondering if someone can help me, I'm looking to upgrade the front breaks on my 1.4 could someone tell me if the VXR callipers are a straight swap so I could put a larger 308mm 4x100 disk?

Thanks in advance!

If a 308 mm disc goes on and the wheel fits on then yes, just a sxi runs a 16 inch wheel and a vxr runs a 17 inch 5 stud wheel but you might be able to drill them to 4 stud fitting, from memory Courtney turbos used to do them but why not upgrade the pads and discs from somewhere like demon tweeks and get aftermarket ones designed to bolt straight on?

Just to update this tread.. the callipers are a straight swap but the disks are hard to find the VXR ones can't just be re-drilled as the bore is a different size
