When I take the key out of the car the radio isn’t turning off it’s not will stay on

Try putting the keys in the ignition and turn the keys round till all the lights come on on the dash but do not start the engine. hold the unlock key for about ten seconds and the central locking should reset itself.

*Disconnect the car battery for 5 minutes then reconnect it before the above steps.

is this a common fault with them? First time having issues with it I just don’t know if the boots actually been fixed because the wire just got sorted to stop the beeping

If the key fob dies or you replace the key battery, you would normally have to resync it. I've ever only done it once/central locking issue.

Try opening the boot once the car is locked.

I’ve tried opening the boot when it’s locked and that stays locked the central locking works from inside but not outside

Wonder if I just need key resynced

Have you reset the central locking?

I tried putting key in the ignition not turning it on and holding the lock button on the key but that’s it I really don’t know much about cars at all

When I press the lock button inside the car all the doors and everything else is closed I had to get someone else to try them for me

No worries.

Do the producure again but hold the unlock key not lock to reset.

Then lock from outside the car and it should work.

Had the fuses checked under the bonnet and at passenger side not sure if there’s anymore?

Yes car still locks from the inside using the button on the car if I use the key just doesn’t work but replaced the battery today

It just needs resetting now then. You may need someone to do it for you.

So just the central locking re set? Sorry so many questions!
