Hi all,
I've recently noticed an annoying occurrence where my drivers door lock won't always work with the central locking (in fact, most of the time).
I can hear the door locks operating from the key fob, when unlocking for example, but when I try to open the drivers door, the door is still locked. Even after locking and unlocking again.
So I end up having to insert the key to manually just unlock the drivers door (it doesn't seem to operate the central locking when doing this).
Same thing happens when locking. The doors all lock from the key fob, but I can open my drivers door (alarm doesn't go off though?).
Sometimes I've been able to 'trick' the door into working again, by using the key (to lock the door when the other doors are locked), and then this may unlock when I unlock with the key fob, but then soon after it goes back to doing nothing.
This seems to have happened out of nowhere... so my immediate thoughts are with the door lock actuator inside the door - would that be a decent guess?
Is there any other diagnostic stuff I can do to confirm it's that?
Or does anyone have any questions for me, that could help?
