It'll help your MPG as well! also make driving a little more reponsive, and a noise change if you go for a full induction kit!

Thanks guys, I don't want a full induction kit, the panel filter changes the noise a little on its own doesn't it? looks like il see how much I got after all my direct debits go through this month.

 

The panel filter does make the turbo whistler a little more on the derv

 

I don't have a turbo, little 1.2 me :L

 

I dont think you will get much more of a noise increase. The engine will pull better

 

Well I'm not after a lot of noise, but these filters seem the best around and like you said you've done 100k miles and all you've done is give it a quick clean, il have to save for one and see if I can get one soon

 

Mines the 1.4 sri and does get deep sound at higher revs

no mate it shouldnt but just keep an eye on it as the foam falls to bits after a while.

back to topic lol...

bargian mate at that price and you will not need to buy another filter aslong as you have your D if you look after it.

Do k&n's need declaring on insurance? Also do they affect warranty?

 

Think you're ment to inform your insurance but if anything was to happen could whip it off, also it's ment to void your. Engine warranty but once again just whip it off that's what I'm doing

 

I don't think it will effect your insurance as its a direct replacement, couldn't tell you about the warranty though, mine is going into Vauxhall next week thats why I haven't bought one yet

 

As far as I know there are no warranty issues with a KnN :shrug:
Email them directly and ask as iv heard this from a few members recently...

 

ive got an induction kit and it drains a tad more fuel, but the panel fitter (not the cone) should increase mpg.. my car was serviced about 3 weeks ago, and they said nothing about it o the warranty side of things :doublethumbs:
