P0138/ P0140 Fault codes

Hi all, Wondering if anyone can help, amber engine management light came on yesterday after a long drive. Plugged my 2012 1.4 Corsa D in and the code came back was P0138/ P0140 (02 sensor circuit, High voltage bank 1 senor 2) Had a look online and it looks like the Lambda Sensor needs replacing. Euro parts is quoting £55 for a new senor but I have been told these are abit of a pain to get off. Is it worth taking it to the garage to get done? if so how much we looking at in London? Cheers.

I may be wrong but assume its the same as the 1.2 -

I believe you need a special socket to remove it.

I have now replaced both Sensors and cleared the errors. After doing around 10 miles the light has come back on with the same fault codes, nothing appears to be wrong with the car. Any ideas what to check next ?

Hi Mate,
Yeah it was resolved thank you, it was the sensor on the actual exhaust rather than in the engine bay.
Genuine Vauxhall part was £150 plus labor.

Thanks mate I’ve already changed that one maybe do the other one and see if it helps. Cheers for the reply though
