mine is the same, been that way since I bought the car ... just thought it was made that way lmao

 

it clicks then pull it up a bit more (feels like you might brake it) and it should slide forward!

You need to lift the catch untill it clicks then the seat rests sitting forward then you can slide it, to put it back you need to push the catch up again and THEN slide the chair back and straighten the back of it. If this doesn't work make sure there is nothing trapped in the runners.

 

I know how it works via the driver side is the same but I'll have to have a proper look at my passenger sear when finish work as it's never worked that way lol.. sorry to take over your thread :O

check the seat can move by using the grab handle underneath, if it does move then the handle mechanism is broke probs id imagine :shrug:

 

I have the same problem with mine, you have to lift the catch up, tilt the seats as much as it can go forwards then pull the catch up till it clicks, i thought mine was broke, but then i realised i think its to stop the person in the back seat from recieving a head rest to the nose :ninja: this would be usefull tho so they dont squirm when you try to force them in the bag :shock: but you cant have everything :shrug:

 

ryc you can look at mine I an move the seat with using the under handle just not the handle on the side

mine was doing this also i tightened the tourqe screws that hold the lever on the seat as they came loose it seems to have solved the problem a bit

 

i had the same problem, found a pound coin stuck in the mechanism, bonus from having passengers. haha just investigate
