Spare Wheel Issue

My wife picked up the '62 plate Corsa 1.7 CDTi SRi she bought from a Ford garage tonight and when we were familiarising ourselves with the car, (unfortunately when we got home), we discovered that there was no spare wheel, not just that, there was no emergency inflation kit either.
Wtf is that all about?
Can anyone tell me if it's meant to have a spare or, as is often the case nowadays, do Vauxhall not supply one? I'd prefer to know before I go in shouting the odds and making a diddy of myself.
The fact it was a Ford garage means that they will probably do the "D'uh we didn't know" routine.
Thanks in advance folks!

From 2011 corsas don't come with spare wheels all they come with is a jack, tyre inflator and tyre sealer but as far as the spare wheel is concerned you'll have to get your own that fits your 'D'

Check spare wheel well or o/s/r quarter for inflation kit. Your 'D' would of originally had an inflation kit. A 16'' Full size spare wheel can be put into wheel well, the wheel is ÂŁ76.20 inc vat from Vauxhall, plus a 195-55-16 tyre which depends on how much you want to spend. You will also need tools.

Well, the good news is, I found an O.E. space saver which comes with a jack and spanner on e-bay and it came in at ÂŁ45 so was a lot cheaper than buying everything individually, thank goodness, I also managed to find a second hand, locking wheel nut set in good nick on e-bay too, ÂŁ12.50, a big saving from the dealers.
So looks as though we're all good to go. Swmbo can change a wheel if she gets a puncture and, not need to wreck the alloy running it to a garage due to the stupid emergency inflation kit (which never bloomin' work), now that she's got the jack and tools to get the job done. What I want to know is, who's the dummy that thinks up these things, the old system worked for nearly 100 years and now they don't supply tools or spares D'uh??

Thanks everyone for the help and information, I can go out and check what's what now, I didn't realise the inflation kit was in the cubby in the quarter.
In my lads car (Swift Sport) it's all in the wheel well, I just expected the same tbh. Oh well, time to start trailing the 'net for a wheel I guess, thanks again.

Not sure, i just had a breif poke about the car when they got it and didn't get a right look.

Mine is in the left boot compartment as well...i didn't realise it was wired in though and thought it'd need the *** lighter to run.
