Cage is different. Bluetooth mounts in the area with the three lights above your head if you only have one basic light need to mount elsewhere.

Touch and connect doesn't pair with display just plug and play, make sure you have the PIN for the unit though as you'll need it.

Thank you. I've got a VXR so have the 3 lights and already have the microphone for the VXMMI mounted there.
Just need to find a Touch & Connect now then.
Also what SMD's are used on the Touch & Connect?

 

you need microphone it s in the roof light.if you don t have big one you need to install it somehere by yourself..

You only need tech2 for touch & connect if you're trying to get it to work with a GID.

T&C works fine with any TID, no need to pair.

 

Cheers for the info. It was mentioned that the harness needs changing, doesn't the original harness that fits into my CD30 not fit into the touch & connect, or are the pin outs different?

Thanks, this helped quite a bit. Another question I have is, where does the cable for the USB and Aux port connect to on the unit and where will the Bluetooth Mic pins connect?

I've eventually retrofitted a touch and connect. I just now have a dash with white SMD's and the touch and connect with orange SMD's. Does anybody know what SMD's the touch and connect uses and if so could you let me know as I'd like to change them to white to match the rest of my interior lights. Thanks Sam.

Doubt I'll get a reply but I've retro fitted a touch and connect with gid screen but the microphone doesnt work? When on bluetooth I have the three lights but yet when on the phone through bluetooth they cant hear anything

 

Sounds silly but try someone else’s phone then if you still have the same problem it’s ruled that out. Think the touch and connect will be 6 or 7 years old now if not more,look how far phones have come in that time and all the updates they’ve had

If you search for touch and connect wiring diagram on google it’ll tell you I think pins that are used for aux connection on standard quad lock connector, nos 4,5 & 11 as memory serves
