Could it be a worn drive shaft

 

Imbalance in the flywheel, worn engine mount, HOLE IN THE EXHAUST? Could be lots of things. Is it just when the engine is under load ? Like hard acceleration. ?

 

Take it to a mechanic could be alot of things as said

wheel bearing ?? although that wouldnt be making a noise from the dash board, as said get it checked as soon as you can.

 

potrentially gearbox bearings - depending what motor you have

 

Its a 1.2 design... Booked it in too be looked at cause its doing my head in. Sounds like somethings loose :/

 

Mine did this for a little while, mainly on cold mornings up to about 3k revs, then all of a sudden it stopped doing it. Does it sound like its coming from the tax disc? (only way I can describe it lol). Its happened to me twice since owning the car and both times it stopped after a week or so. Never have worked out what it was!

 

Yeahh kinda, i thought it was my streering wheel to start with. Ive given it a week and its still there, ive only had it a week so the vauxhall garage are gonna get a piece of my mind lmao..

 

If you've only had it a week I would definitely take it to VX and get them to have a look. Could just be leaves getting stuck or something, could you post what they say is wrong with it though because this sounds exactly like what I had and I never could work out what the f it was! I'm sure I'll be hearing the noise again at some point lol.

 

Someone said it could be a loose Manifold bolt? Somethin like that.. but yehhh ill post it up on here on Monday!
